Jeff Goin and Kathleen Wigley have partnered to start “Single Socks,” a community-run thrift store dedicated to funding anti-hunger projects in Grant County. They are in the process of securing a storefront space (hopefully in downtown Silver), and hope to be open for business on April 1.

An Egyptian cartoonist will receive top billing when his Cartoon Solo Exhibition “Le Monde de Caricature de Tamer Youssef 2″ opens at the Alliance Française of San Francisco in California on 31 January. The show will run until 13 February.
